The bread here is incredible! The meats are also top notch. We ordered two three foot hero’s for a party and they were the first to go!

Best Bread, Mozzarella, Chicken Cutlets, Eggplant cutlets and Grilled Chicken Cutlets in ALL OF BERGEN COUNTY!!!!!!! I swear they deserve 1st place in all of the above listed items. I never bought cutlets, I always made them myself but not anymore. My entire family raves about their food and I truly do not mind not having to do all that work I used to in order to feed everyone their favorites like eggplant parm. We have a lot of family visiting for the holidays and Amato's is at least a part of my dinner and lunch spreads every day they are here. Other great options: roasted artichokes with the stem, roasted peppers, broccoli rabe, rice balls, homemade sauces and tuna fish salad. If you stop by once, you will be back OFTEN :)

Great place for a great sandwich.

I love their bread but I had a very disappointing experience with them today and I will not go back to buy bread from them ever. I used to be able to purchase their bread at my local store first for $2.99 then they raised the price to $3.49. They decided to consolidate their routes around here and can't get their bread close by anymore. I took a 20 mile ride to get it from their store where they sell the same bread for $4.50. I was going to ride there once every week or every other week to purchase 10-12 of their bread at a time and asked if they would give me a better price. She told me that there are people who come further than I am and that she can not give the bread any cheaper. She dissed my request in a very unprofessional manner. I told her this was the last time I took a long ride for their bread no matter how tasty it is....

I like the bread and fresh made mozzarella best.

I love this place the breads are so fresh even on Sundays they stuff them nice and hot and my wife lost Portuguese rolls it's a awesome place and everybody super-friendly

Best bread, freshly made mozzarella, delicious broccoli rave. The list goes on and on. Joe Amato makes the most scrumptious sandwiches. Well worth it! A friendly, clean establishment with a variety of delicacies.

Great Fresh, just out-of-the-oven bread. You can't get this in a supermarket, even a specialty one. There's a down home touch here that can't be beat. The Italian cookies are great too. Always a hit.The rest of the place is awesome as well! Great bread! Great service.
